At workinginsweden.se you’ll find a collection of information from several public authorities and agencies for anyone who wishes to go to Sweden for work or to run a business.
If you are a citizen of an EU/EEA country, you don’t need a permit to live, work, or start or run a business in Sweden. The Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket) has more information for residents of Nordic or EU/EEA countries who plan to move to Sweden. There is also information for those who are EU/EEA citizens but whose family members are citizens of a country outside the EU/EEA, and for Swiss citizens.
Citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA will in most cases need a work permit to live and work in Sweden. Find out what the requirements are and how you can apply for a work permit at the Swedish Migration Agency.
